Classroom Clipart
Classroom clipart is the pre-made artwork that you order from various different teacher sources and then hang in the classroom. The clipart can fall under a wide number of themes. You can find clipart for each season, and then you can find clipart for more specific times within each season. So there is generic spring art as well as specific art for each month, and then specific art for each holiday within the months. There is also art for books, letters, and movies. Almost anything that you need or want for your classroom, you can find through the different clipart stores, resources, and websites.
Why might you want clipart? There are lots of different reasons. In elementary school classrooms, clipart can be used to make the classroom more fun and welcoming for the students. A slightly festive and cheerful environment is appropriate for children of that age. But it’s good for high school and middle school students as well, especially the pre-cut letters and numbers that you can use on the walls and bulletin boards.
A lot of clipart is free. That’s because they are so widely available through different websites and online resources. Generally, they ask to provide the proper acknowledgement for the clipart, especially if you choose to use certain types of clipart on your classroom webpage, wiki, blog, journal, or myspace. If you laminate your clipart, it will last even longer. The good thing is that if you take care of your laminated clipart, you will be able to use it year after year.
